Reach Out youth volunteer celebration at Taylor's Lakeside

If you weren't there, you probably heard from your friends or saw the postings all over various social networking sites about what was going on at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus the entire day yesterday. Starting from 8am, the Reach Out convention was held and various speakers like Tan Sri Tony Fernedes, Dato' Ruby Khong and so many others were in the lineup. The entire event was absolutely free. I was not there at the convention, but I did go for the music that came afterwards.
The weather was scorching but the crowd was going strong and the normally quiet lakeside campus was filled with concert-goers and head-banging music fans. In the midst of the loud rock music, came Narmi (pictured below), with their sweet, and soothing music.
As day turned to night, David Choi, Chester See and Jason Chen were set to grace Malaysia with their presence. JinnyboyTV were also on the list as fans screamed at the glimpse of the YouTube stars and a growing crowd were waiting backstage for them to come out, hoping for an autograph or a picture.

Jason Chen came up and wowed everyone with a mandarin song and acoustic covers. He hit the notes effortlessly as the crowd screamed even louder.
David Choi came up next and shared his stories of love and life with a set-list of original songs. Accompanied by only his guitar and it was an intimate acoustic show. He even played a new song for the fans.
Chester See performed after on a keyboard at about 9pm and concert showed no sign of ending yet. Mesmerising everyone with his popular song 'God Damn You're Beautiful' and teasing the crowd with only one line of 'Bromance'.

I personally didn't really know their music that well so I can't say too much about what songs they were singing, but it was a great evening. I went because of my friend who has never been to a concert before and is a super huge fan of them wanted to go. We ended up meeting all of them and she got their autographs!
Since this is my very first post here I would like to say hi! and thank you for letting me be a part of this blog. I will be posting about music, music and lots of music now and then.
